The Phoenix players have been plying their trade across the globe, see how they fared below.

Nathan Sobey – Santeros de Aguada (BSN)

26PTS, 4REBS, 3ASTS vs. Quebradillas

8PTS, 5REBS, 2STLS vs. Carolina

18PTS, 4REBS vs. Ponce

Nathan Sobey rolled out for Santeros de Aguada in their trio of games, having a huge hand in helping his team to back-to-back wins for the first time in the BSN season. In 32 minutes against Quebradillas he scored 26 points and added three assists in a 92-89 victory.

Three days later, a leaner output saw Sobey post eight points and five rebounds and Aguada claim another victory before just 48 hours later the Phoenix co-captain roared back with 18 points and four rebounds despite a loss to Ponce.

Owen Foxwell – Taranaki Airs (NZNBL)

13PTS, 11ASTS vs. Tauranga Whai

Back-to-back wins for Owen Foxwell’s Taranaki Airs with the guard continuing to put on a show with ball in hand. Another 13 points and 11 assists for the league-leader in dimes, Foxwell is going from strength-to-strength across the ditch as he continues to hone his craft.

The Airs now sit comfortably in fourth position with a 6-3 record as the NZNBL rounds the halfway point of the season.

Angus Glover – Ringwood Hawks (NBL1 South)

14PTS, 6REBS, 2ASTS vs. Diamond Valley

14PTS, 9REBS, 3ASTS vs. Sandringham

Angus Glover’s Ringwood Hawks suffered two losses in the Anzac Appeal Round in the NBL1 South competition, putting up eerily similar stats across the pair of games. 14 points in both games and missing a double-double in the second has the second-year Phoenix guard primed as he builds towards NBL26.

Akech Aliir – Mt. Gambier Pioneers (NBL1 South)

14PTS, 10REBS, 2ASTS vs. Waverley

The Phoenix’s newest addition continues his strong showing for the Mt Gambier Pioneers, adding 14 points and 10 rebounds in their crushing defeat of the Waverley Falcons. Aliir has registered a double-double in three of his last six games and has been a major reason the Pioneers sit atop the NBL1 South table.

Luke Rosendale – Ballarat Miners (NBL1 South)

12PTS, 6REBS, 2ASTS vs. Eltham

Ballarat captain Luke Rosendale was again a huge contributor for the Luke Brennan-coached Miners, with 12 points, six rebounds and two assists as his side were dealt a heavy defeat at the hands of Eltham.

Majok Majok - Ballarat Miners (NBL1 South)

0PTS, 15REBS, 2ASTS vs. Eltham

Ballarat big man Majok Majok didn’t trouble the scorers table in 25 minutes but reigned in 15 rebounds alongside two assists in an impressive showing on the boards. He continues to provide a presence inside for Luke Brennan and despite a lean showing in his last outing, has been a handy acquisition for Ballarat.

Tom Vodanovich – Auckland Tuatara (NZNBL)

24PTS, 4REBS, 1AST vs. Canterbury

Vodanovich’s best contribution for the season came this week against the Canterbury Rams, dropping 24 points in his sides 78-131 loss. He was brilliant from beyond the arc on 4-7 shooting and pulled in four rebounds as Auckland’s best player on the night.
